Who we are

This website, rvtc.co.uk, is operated by RVTC LTD, a private limited company registered in England & Wales (company number 16980210), registered office Suite 512, 33 Great George Street, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS1 3AJ. RVTC LTD is the data controller for anything you send us through this site. Contact for data-protection enquiries: admin@rvtc.co.uk.

The four brand websites are run by the companies that own them — Alectrona by RVTC Installations Ltd, The Warehouse by RVTC Wholesale Ltd, and Solar Tech Support and Sentinel by RVTC LTD — and are covered by those sites' own privacy policies where published. This policy covers rvtc.co.uk only.

What we collect

There are no accounts on this site and nothing to sign up to. We collect personal data in two ways only:

• The contact form — your name, email address, the company you give (optional), your message, and the tick confirming you are happy to be contacted. The form is delivered to us by Formspree (see below).
• Server logs — our host, Cloudflare, records the IP address, browser type and pages requested for every visit, as every web host does, to keep the site secure and available.

We do not ask for a phone number, and we do not collect anything about you from other sources.

How we use it

• To answer your enquiry. That is the only reason the form exists.
• To pass your enquiry to the right company if it belongs with one of the brands — RVTC Installations Ltd for Alectrona, RVTC Wholesale Ltd for The Warehouse — so the people who can actually help you see it.
• To keep the site secure (the server logs).

Our lawful basis is your consent for the form (the tick), and our legitimate interest in running a secure website for the logs. We do not sell your data, we do not share it with marketers, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

• Formspree, Inc. — delivers the contact form to our inbox. Formspree is a United States company, so a form submission leaves the UK; it processes the submission under its own privacy policy and data-processing terms.
• Cloudflare — hosts the site and holds the server logs.
• The group's other companies — RVTC Installations Ltd and RVTC Wholesale Ltd, only when your enquiry is for the brand they own.
• Regulators or the courts — when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries — for as long as it takes to deal with them, and for up to two years after the last contact so we can pick up a thread you come back to. Then deleted.
• Server logs — kept by Cloudflare for a short rolling period under its own retention settings.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics, tracking or advertising. Our host, Cloudflare, may set a strictly necessary security cookie to protect the site from automated abuse. There is nothing to opt in or out of, which is why you saw no cookie banner.

Your rights under UK GDPR

You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, give you a copy, restrict how we use it, or stop using it for a particular purpose. Email admin@rvtc.co.uk and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not happy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS only, from a static host with no database of its own. The form collects the minimum we need to reply, and the only places your enquiry is stored are our mailbox, Formspree's delivery record and, if we pass it on, the mailbox of the group company that answers it.

Changes to this policy

If anything material changes we will say so on this page. Minor wording changes are tracked by the date at the top.
